Sydney celebrates its faith

27/05/2019

This year, over 1400 Christians of different denominations are expected to come together on 5 June 2019 in the Grand Ballroom of the International Convention Centre for the Sydney Prayer Breakfast.

This event is an opportunity for Christians working across Sydney to unite around their shared values. Attendees have the opportunity to stop and pray for the City, each other and share their spiritual stories of their own journey of faith.

Past speakers at the breakfast have included leaders such as former Police Commissioner Andrew Scipione and NSW Governor General David Hurley, Vice-Chancellor of Sydney University Michael Spence, and former premier of NSW Mike Baird. Claire Rogers, the World Vision Australia CEO will be this year’s guest speaker.

World Vision Australia CEO Claire Rogers is a social innovator with a proven track record of strategising and delivering major change initiatives, helping organisations adapt to the tech-disrupted economy, and aligning physical and digital execution to maximise opportunities.

The concept of the Sydney Prayer Breakfast was born out of a commitment to the cause of coming together to pray for the city. Don’t miss out on this moving and unforgettable event! Join the Christian community, meet new friends and learn how to grow a brand and raise the courage to take a big leap in your professional career with your faith at the forefront.

Enjoy coffee and croissants over breakfast while listening to an all-inspiring panel of Christian entrepreneurs and leaders, before leaving feeling encouraged and invigorated about your faith.
